Age: 25
Race: Human
Nationality: 12th generation Qeynosian
Genealogy: Only son of Samuel Squall, 4th generation blacksmith for the Qeynos Guard (deceased) and Moira Winters, 2nd generation Tailor (resides in south Qeynos, retired)
Brief history: Brought up in Qeynos, Theobod fell in love with its architecture and romance at a young age, originally aspired to be a guardsman when he reached maturity, but with the fickle heart of his mother, wanderlust soon reared its head. He made his name as a swordsman in the Thundering Steppes fending off Gnoll bandits to protect ore shipments from the foothills for his father's forge, Theobod trained with the sword night and day, until one fateful meeting with a Concordium magi on the steps of their tower. Before long he was allowed entrance to their library and even received some private lessons from this elusive Erudite, though without the patience to pursue magic to its true conclusion the Concordium never allowed him full membership, though he did become quite proficient in the lesser arts of Blade Magic, Warding and Healing and to a lesser extent, the attack schools of Force and Lightning destruction magic.
Thus equipped with skill with blade and the lesser arcane Theobod set to making himself useful roaming the Antonican plains and the Steppes, patrolling Karana and clearing its roads of monsters and neerdowells, alone. A big mistake. One year after his father's death due to wasting illness his recklessness nearly caused the death of his mother by worry, when set upon by gnolls upon the road, looking for revenge against the deaths of several of their raiders some weeks back, Theobod was gutted, impaled and left for dead by the roadside. Luck and grace were all that saved him that day, as a priest of Mithaniel Marr was walking the road that day, and saved him from the brink of death by His Light.
Thereafter, upon full recovery and the retirement of his mother, Theobod resolved to form a Party of Adventurers, a company to which he could rely and to whom he could assist in endeavours across Norrath, thus, with some delays and no small expense, the charter for the Order of the Blue Blade was writ and sealed.
